How to Brew
Hot Tea
Use 1 teaspoon of loose leaf tea per 8 oz of water.
Heat fresh water to the appropriate temperature:
Herbal teas: 212°F
Black teas: 200–212°F
Green teas: 175–185°F
White teas: 175–185°F
Steep for:
Herbal: 5–7 minutes
Black: 3–5 minutes
Green: 2–3 minutes
White: 3–5 minutes
Strain and enjoy.
Iced Tea
For the best flavor, we recommend the cold brew method.
Add 3 tablespoons of loose leaf tea per quart (32 oz) of cold water.
Refrigerate for 8–12 hours.
Strain and serve over ice.
Or brew hot at double strength and pour over ice for a quicker option.
Re-Steeping
Most Willow & Bloom teas can be steeped 2–3 times. Each infusion reveals new layers of flavor. Increase the steeping time by about 1–2 minutes with each additional brew.
Every cup is personal. If you prefer a stronger brew, simply add a little more tea or steep a bit longer. Loose-leaf tea is meant to be enjoyed your way.
